Che cosa Firenze è per me

Firenze è una bella città piena di gente piacevole. Ho molte parti preferite di Firenze:

Primo- la parte superiore del doumo: una vista da far mancare il fiato. mi è venuta la pelle d'oca e mi è mancato il respiro quando mi sono trovata in cima al duomo ed ho veduto quanto Firenze stupefacente bella è.

Secondo: il cibo che stupisce dai caffè-latte ed i croissants morbidi e fragranti, ai panini squisiti e alla pasta e le carni meravigliose.

Tre- e belle strade di pietra di ciottolo e le piccole case di quent. Come io entro in giù le strade in Firenze io sento come se io sono in un vecchio film eccellente.


What Florence is to me.

Florence is a beautiful city filled with nice people. I have many favorite parts of Florence:

First- the top of the doumo: breath taking views. goose bumps and chills ran through my body as I stood at the very top and saw how amazingly beautiful Florence is.

Second the food- amazing- from the café lattes and the fluffy light croissants, to the delicious paninis and the wonderful pasta and meats.

Third- the beautiful cobble stone streets and small quent houses. As I walk down the streets in Florence I feel as if I am in an old classy film.

Oggi noi abbiamo fatto un'escursione a Santa Croce. Qui io ho visto la tomba di Michelngelo, Galileo e la lapide di Dante. Più tardi i miei amici ed io siamo andati a Pisa e abbiamo visto la Torre pendente di Pisa.

Today we took a field trip to Santa Croce. Here I saw Michael Angelo’s grave, Galileo and the tombstone of Dante. Later my friends and I went to Pisa and saw the leaning tower of Pisa.

Uffizi- 20 Gennaio

Oggi abbiamo fatto un' escursione algli Uffizi. Ho veduto molte opere d'arte. Le mie opere preferite erano la belle pitture di Adamo ed Eva e la Nascita di Venere.

Today we took a field trip to the Uffizi. I saw a lot of artwork. My favorites were the beautiful paintings of: Adam and Eve and the birth of venus.

19 Gennaio

Dopo la classe le mie amiche e io abbiamo viaggiato a Siena. Abbiamo la passeggiato per la città, fatto shopping, e esporato. Più tardi abbiamo mangiato il pranzo e gelato.

After class my friends and I traveled to Seina. We walked around the town, shopped and explored. Later we ate dinner and gelato.

Il mio ultimo giorno a Londra Ethel ha preparato una prima colazione britannica casalinga. YUMMY. Allora ci siamo diretti al Oxford Circus e ho avuto la mia prima esperienza del TopShop. ECCEZIONALE. Non vedo l'ora che ci sia TopShop a NY

My last day in London Ethel made a homemade British breakfast. YUMMY. Then we headed to oxford circus and I had my first topshop experience.AMAZING. I can not wait for topshop in NY

London Calling

Dopo avere perso la parte più importante di una carta (il numero di telefono di Ethel e tutte le altre informazioni necessarie) - sono arrivata a Londra venerdì sera. Ethel e io allora samo uscite per la serata. Sabato abbiamo girato intorno a Londra per esplorare e vedere: Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, The London eye and South Bank, Harrods, House of Fraser, Night Bridge, Kensington, Baker Street (Sherlock Holmes e il più vecchio sistema di trasporti metropolitani nel mondo), e Abbey Road.

After loosing the most important piece of a paper (Ethel's phone number and all other necessary information)- I arrived in London Friday night. Ethel and I then headed out for the evening. Saturday we traveled around London to explore and see: Westminster abbey, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, The London eye and South Bank, Harrods, House of Fraser, Night Bridge, Kensington, Baker Street (Sherlock Holmes and the oldest underground subway in the world), and Abbey Road.

Abbiamo fatto un' escursione alla Galleria dell'Accademia. Ho veduto molte sculture e opera d'arte ma la mia preferita era la bella scultura di David di Micheal Angelo. Allora via per Londra per il fine settimana

We took a field trip to the academic. I saw many sculptures and art work but my favorite was the beautiful David sculpture by Micheal Angelo. Then off to London for the weekend.

Dopo il viaggio al mercato le mie amiche ed io abbiamo camminato intorno al mercato delle pulci. Più tardi siamo andate all'interno della casa di Dante's.

After the market trip my friends and I walked around the flea market. Later we went inside Dantes house.

PLAZZO PITTI!

Oggi abbiamo fatto una visita al Palazzo Pitti. Palazzo Pitti è un vecchio palazzo che è stato abitato dal re dell'Italia. La mia parte preferita del museo era l'esposizione del costume. i vestiti e gli accessori erano stupefacenti. Dopo la visita mi sono persa e ho ritrovato la stada per l'ostello.

Today we took a field trip to the Pitti Palace. Pitti Placae is an old mid evil palace built for the Italian king. My favorite part of the museum was the costume exhibit. The clothing and accessories were amazing. Then I got lost and found my way back to the hostel.

La notte di domenica: Venezia. Mattina di sabato: mi sono svegliata presto. Ho camminato tutto il giorno intorno a Venezia in Piazza San Marco. Giro in gondola. Stupore. Di nuovo a Roma domani mattina.

Sunday night: Venice. Saturday morning: Wake up early. Walked around Venice all day in San Marco Square. Gondola ride. Amazing. Back tom Rome tomorrow morning.

Mi sono svegliata presto. Dopo una grande prima colazione il nostro giorno è cominciato con Città del Vaticano. Tre ore più tardi ci siamo trovate alla parte superiore della Cupola.

Saturday- Day 6

Woke up early. After a large breakfast our day began with Vatican City. Three hours later we found ourselves at the top of the Cupola.

This afternoon we took a train to Rome. That night we visited the coliseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Arch of Constantine.

Venerdì il 9 gennaio due mila e nove: la classe ha fatto un'escursione alla zone archeologica di Fiesole. Ho veduto i resti etruschi, romani e longobardi in tre ettari di paesaggio collinare toscano..

Day 5

On Friday January 9, 2009, the class took a field trip to the archaeological museum. I saw Etruscan, roman, and longobard ruins in three hectares of landscape of Tuscan hills.

Dopo la classe le mie amiche e io siamo andate a pranzo in un piccolo ristorante. Piu' tardi noi ci siamo arrampicate sulla parte superiore del Doumo. Dopo molte scale noi siamo arrivate in cima al Duomo: era bello.

Day 4

After class my friends and I went to lunch at a small restaurant. Later on we climbed to the top of the Doumo. After many steps we arrived at the top: it was beautiful.

Il mio compagno di camera Brooke. Brook e’ grasso e snella. La sua carnagione e’ molto chiara con le lentiggini. Brooke il capelli di media lunghezza e castani. Brooke gli occhi nocciola. Brooke ha un buon carattere. Brooke e’ simpactico, socievole. Brooke e’ generoso, picacevole e sempre felice.

My roommate is Brooke. She is short and slender. She has a fair with freckles. Brooke’s hair is medium length and chestnut. Brooke’s eyes are hazel. Brooke has a great personality. Brooke is nice and socialable. Brooke is generous, pleasant and always happy.

Day One!

Dopo il lungo viaggo, io arrico finalmente a Frienze. Il mio primo giorno a Frienze io vado a piedi con le nuove amiche. Durante la passeggiate abbiamo la shopping e' esporato, il Duomo, la Cantadrale de Santa Maria e il Punte Vecchio.

After a long trip I finally arrived in Florence. My first day in Florence I took a walk with new friends. During the walk we went shopping and explored, the Duomo, Cantadrale de Santa Maria and Punte Vecchio.
